Professional Biography

Dr. Savannah Robin hails from Louisville, KY and is a graduate of Fern Creek High School and a four-time graduate of the University of Kentucky with dual bachelor’s degrees (in Ag Education and Ag Communications) and a master’s degree (Career, Technical and Leadership Education) within the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment and then a Doctorate from the College of Education. Professionally, she is the Lecturer of Career and Professional Development and directs career, professional and experiential learning for the University of Kentucky’s Equine Science and Management undergraduate program. In addition, she is a faculty member within the Department of Agricultural Economics and leads the AFE 100 course development, curriculum, and instruction for the College.

Her most important job in life is being a mom to her three girls Alexis, Finleigh Ann and Andie Jane and wife to her husband Ben. She farms alongside her husband in Paris/Bourbon County, Kentucky at Robin Ridge Farms. Savannah has been engaged in the agriculture industry since she was old enough to speak, her first word was horse and she had a passion and drive for teaching, farming, growing things and raising animals since she was a child, and this is evident in all she does today. She is also heavily involved with Kentucky Farm Bureau where she serves on the Bourbon County Farm Bureau Board and is a past-president and is involved in several state initiatives. Most recently she was named Kentucky’s 2024 Farm Woman of the Year by Kentucky Farm Bureau.
